This training will provide an introduction to fair housing law in the state of Washington and an in-depth look at protections for persons with disabilities. Fair housing law often differs from the more commonly understood American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. This training will review the differences in regulations and highlight the types of protections in public spaces versus housing. The training will also review the steps and procedures of successfully addressing reasonable accommodation and modification requests.
